You probably know about oven cleaning but you may have not thought that your oven is dirty. Read the following list of things to check to determine if your cooker, extractor etc need cleaning.
Is your filthy dirty oven door really dirty? How much of the oven interior can you see when the oven light is switched on? Does your black oven door glass mean that you can’t see your cooking whilst it is cooking? Do horrible greasy drips on the inside of your oven door spoil the appearance of your oven? Does your oven door have dirt and grease right inside it?
Do you cooker knobs look clean? On using your oven are the knobs tacky to the touch? After touching your knobs are you compelled to wash your hands? Have you noticed that your cooker control knobs are coated in grease and for some reason hairs too?

Is your oven bulb so dirty that it doesn’t light up when you switch it on? Does your oven has traces of old oven cleaner that has been used to try and clean the oven?
Is your grill compartment clean? Does the smoke from your grill fill the room when you use it? Does your grill pan look like new? How dirty is your grill handle, isn’t sticky okay?
Does dirty grease stains on the outside of your cooker lead you to believe that it is dirty? Is there grease on it. Unremoval black marks on stainless steel are grease marks, aren’t they? Do you feel that those stains on your stainless steel need cleaning off? How clean do you want the outside of your cooker to look, clean and shiny?
Is your cooker hob clean? If you look at your gas hob how dirty are the pot stands, are they black with grease? Do your burners gleam in the light or are the dull or black? How clean are the black bits on the top of your burners? Does the dirt on your ceramic hob spoil the look of your cooker?
Really how clean is your extractor hood? If you have an extractor hood that is stainless steel is this hood sticky to the touch? On a paper extractor system does the paper filter look dirty. Has your extractor paper changed colour in any way? How much grease and dirt are on your extractor filters?
